EDWARDS, Mr. LeTroy Montrel-age 43 passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 12:00 p.m. Family hour beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church 1083 E. Stewart Ave. Flint, MI Moderator Lewis Randolph officiating. Mr. Edwards will repose at Serenity Funeral Chapel on Tuesday January 1, 2012 and Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for public visitation. Words of expression and remarks from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday during visitaion at Serenity Funeral Chapel G-2340 W. Carpenter Rd. Flint, MI 48505. Internment River Rest Cemetery Flint, MI.
Mr. LeTroy Montrel Edwards was born October 6, 1969, in Flint MI. the son of Roy Reeves and Brenda Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a resident of Flint his entire life and worked for Avon Plastics in Pontiac, MI., Ross Quick Lube Oil Change and also did home improvement work in addition to having a lawn care service. LeTroy's hobbies included fishing with his buddies, working on cars and in the yard. He also enjoyed barbecuing , playing video games and spending time with his kids.
Mr. Edwards leaves to cherish his memory daughters; Tiara and Latisha both of Flint, MI., sons; Montrel of Seattle, WA., Eundra, Devonte, Dylan, and Lavonte all of Flint, MI,. stepdaughter; Alexis of Flint, MI., grandchildren; Josiah, Emonie, Eundra, Jr., Jania, Kemyah, Anasia of Flint, MI., Montrel Jr., of Seattle, WA., parents; Roy Reeves and Brenda Edwards, sisters; Shenthia, Mecah and China, nieces; Shana, Shalamar, Ja-Niqua and Natasia nephews; Antwon Jr., Amarion, Corday and Sherad aunts; Ester, Lorean, Bessie, Charlotte, Maxine, Florence all of Flint, MI., a host of cousins, sister-in-law Angela and brother-in-law Johnny a host of other relatives and friends including; Janeen, Katrina, Shalonda and Jill. special brothers; Hermon, Ellis, Marion, Andre, James Deloney Jr., Randell, Gary, Allen and Lawrence special cousin/brothers; Alexander, Venice and William.
Mr. LerTroy Edwards was preceded in death by wife Selena and step-son Jayson, brother; Antwon Sr., grandparents; Henry Walker and Elenora Reeves, Melvin and Martha Edwards, 2 uncles and 2 aunts.
The family would like to express special thanks to the EMT's, Rosy Wheeler and Charity United Methodist Church, Rev. David Leinke residing, and to Rev. Lewis Randolph and the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
